Catherine Terry Corbin, Founder
Exceptional Events Etc. was founded by Catherine Terry Corbin, an event planner with more than 10 years experience in the hospitality industry and in meeting, tradeshow, conference and event planning. Catherine has strategized, conceptualized and produced hundreds of top-tier events in New York City and around the world. Past clients include Mercer Consulting Group, Nielsen Business Media, Health Sience Communication, CV Therapeutics/Gilead, Epsilon, White & Case LLP and Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW).
Catherine holds the premier industry certification of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and has a BS in Communications from Syracuse University. She splits her time between Portsmouth, NH and New York City and is married to Dr. David Corbin.

Helen Adelman, Vice-President, Events
Originally raised in the South, Helen Adelman has been planning events in New York City for the past five years. Her experience spans from intimate, private dinners to multi-million dollar corporate events. She has worked throughout the United States, as well as producing multiple events internationally. Corporate clients include Hearst Corporation, Alliance Data and Maurice Cooper et Cie. She has also worked under both Mary Van Pelt and Sabine Poisson, renown private event planners in the greater New York area.
Helen has a BA from the University of Tennessee in Communication Studies and is in the process of acquiring her Certified Meeting Professional certification. She currently resides in New York City.
